van Veijeren & Partners was founded twenty years ago by CEO Dr Johan van Veijeren [MB ChB. (Pret.) Med. Rad. (D) (Pret.)], a passionate medical professional with a vision to offer accessible, accurate, and patient-focused diagnostic care in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. Since its inception, the practice has grown steadily, both in size and innovation.

One of our proudest advancements is the establishment of the Lorraine Homan Wellness Centre, a dedicated space designed specifically for women’s health. This centre creates a welcoming and private environment for essential female diagnostic tests, including mammograms, with comfort and dignity at the forefront. The centre is named in memory of Lorraine Homan, an extraordinary woman who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer. Her strength, warmth, and courage continue to inspire our mission to provide compassionate, early diagnostic care for women.
